Padhma Creations

Padhma Creations is located in Nepalgunj, Nepal, on the border of India. It was founded by a young Nepali woman inspired by the story of a 13-year-old village girl being rescued from trafficking by the police in Nepalgunj. Padhma provides women artisans with employment, health, education, and social welfare programs. Knitters are paid wages that are higher then the market rate in Nepal and puts away 5% of profits towards the Padhma Creations Health Fund to provide knitters and their children with basic health care, as well as education scholarships for children of the knitters.
